HTI Cybernetics Hosts 2024 Manufacturing Day Event

MFG Day

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI – HTI Cybernetics®, a provider of automation and tooling solutions, participated in the 11th annual Macomb County celebration of Manufacturing (MFG) Day. On October 3, 2024, HTI had the honor of hosting a freshmen class from Utica Community Schools – Center for Science & Industry along with a group of seniors from Neil Reid High School, part of the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD).

The event consisted of an overview presentation given by Eric McAlexander, CEO of HTI Cybernetics, followed by a facility tour that highlighted seven stations in the shop and a handful of career paths associated with each station. These stations focused on advanced technologies and integrated manufacturing solutions from mechanical design and 3D printing to tool building and robotics.

MFG Day is manufacturing’s largest annual opportunity to inspire the next generation by encouraging companies to open their doors and give students a chance to see manufacturing in the real world.

With over 40 years of expertise, HTI continues to evolve with technological advancements in the manufacturing industry and lead the way with intelligent manufacturing solutions. The vision of HTI is to continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity in a connected world where humans and machines work side by side. The best way to achieve this vision is to encourage the next generation of workers to pursue careers in manufacturing and teach them the way.
